SIR has not started as of 9 May 2025 as a large section of population has not been covered by progeny mapping. 🔹 SECTION 1: FAQ (Simple Urdu – English Script)

1. SIR kya hai?
SIR ek process hai jo voter list ko verify aur update karta hai.

2. Apna naam voter list me kaise check karein? Ya apne father mother ka 2002 voter list me kaise check karen ?

Option 1:

VOTERS' SERVICES PORTAL
Website par jaakar:

• Naam se
• EPIC number se
• Mobile number se

One of three options can be used:

(1)  ईपीआईसी द्वारा खोजें / Search by EPIC

(2)   विवरण द्वारा खोजें/ Search by Details (name, relative name, 

Date of birth, age, gender)

Option 2:

Using the following ECI website, you can find your or your father, mother details in 2002 old SIR list for any state.

Two options:

(1) Search by Elector Details 

(2) Search in last SIR E-Roll (state wise). You will need to enter :

3. 2002 data ka use kya hai?
Purana record dikhane ke liye useful hai, lekin mapping ki guarantee nahi deta.

4. BLO kaise find karein?

• Apne polling booth ke through

1. Apna District Select karein Dropdown menu se apna district choose karein (jaise Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, etc.).

2. Apni Constituency Choose karein District select karne ke baad apni assembly constituency choose karein taake search polling area tak narrow ho jaye.

3. BLO Details Dekhein Portal aapko BLO ka naam, contact number aur office details show karega. Aap BLO ke office par jaa kar mil sakte hain. BLO officer voter registration, electoral roll update aur voter ID queries mein madad karta hai.

4. Agar BLO phone nahi receive kar raha ys help nahi kar raha, ERO se contact karein .

• Verification karta hai

7. Kya SIR online ho sakta hai?
Partially online hota hai, lekin field verification zaroor hota hai.

8. Mee Seva SIR karega kya?

9. Kaunse documents chahiye?

10. Birth certificate zaroori hai kya?

12. Voter ID nahi mil raha ya galat hai?

• EPIC check karein
• Nahi mile toh naya apply karein

13. Naam me spelling mistake hai toh?
Form 8 se correct karein

14. Agar India me nahi hain toh?
Family help le sakte hain

15. Sirf parents ka naam 2002 me hai toh?
Family linkage possible hai

16.  Agar details complete na ho ya mismatch ho to kya karen:

Q1. Meri walida ka naam different polling station mein dikh raha hai. Kya karein?

Answer:
Agar unka naam purane polling station mein maujood hai, chahe spelling mistakes ya address errors hon, to generally koi issue nahi hota. Aap current voter ID ko 2002 ke data ke saath self-mapping kar sakte hain, In Shaa Allah.

Q2. Naam ki spelling galat hai aur husband/father name ki jagah Dada ka naam husband ke taur par mention hai. Kya yeh problem hai?

Answer:
2002 ke purane SIR data mein kaafi clerical errors aur inaccuracies maujood hain. Is wajah se is tarah ki mistakes common hain. Filhal mapping ke waqt details ko jaisa record mein hai waise hi mention karein.

Q3. House address incomplete hai aur EPIC number bhi nahi hai. Kya self mapping possible hai?

Answer:
Ji haan. Agar naam polling station record mein mil raha hai aur address totally incorrect nahi hai, to yeh self mapping ke liye generally sufficient mana ja sakta hai.

Q4. Kya purane 2002 SIR data mein corrections karwa sakte hain?

Answer:
Nahi, aam tor par 2002 ke old SIR data mein direct changes karna possible nahi hota. Isliye current voter ID aur dusre present documents ko error-free rakhna important hai.

Q5. Is clerical mistake ko support karne ke liye kya additional document ban sakta hai?

Answer:
Ek legal affidavit Notary se banwaya ja sakta hai. Affidavit mein mention karein ke 2002 ke purane SIR data mein clerical error ki wajah se relation details galat record hui hain aur actual relationship kya hai. Yeh affidavit ek additional supporting document ke taur par use ho sakta hai.

• DOB before 1987 → sirf apna doc
• 1987–2004 → apna + ek parent
• After 2004 → apna + dono parents

5. How to find BLO?

Through official portal or polling booth.

You can find your BLO details online using your Voter ID (EPIC) number through the Election Commission of India’s official portal.

Step-by-Step Guide to Find BLO Details:

The portals allow you to select your State, District, and Assembly Constituency to find your BLO details directly.

Visit the CEO Telangana BLO Portal: Go to the official BLO details page at CEO Telangana BLO Portal to access the search tool for your area. 

1. Select Your District: From the dropdown menu, choose your district in Telangana (e.g., Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, etc.),. 

2. Choose Your Constituency: After selecting the district, pick your assembly constituency to narrow down the search to your polling area. 

3. View BLO Details: The portal will display the name, contact number, and office details of your designated BLO. You can meet the BLO at his office location . This officer is responsible for voter registration, updating electoral rolls, and assisting with voter ID-related queries. 

4. If BLO is not cooperating, contact ERO.

 Meet or call ERO. Find ERO phone number on https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ using your voter ID EPIC details.

16. What to do if Data not matching or incomplete:

Q1. My mother’s name appears in a different polling station. What should we do?

Answer:

If her name exists in the old polling station records, even with spelling mistakes or minor address issues, it is generally not considered a major problem. You may proceed with self-mapping of the current voter ID with the 2002 data.

Q2. Her name spelling is incorrect, and her father/grandfather’s name is shown as the husband’s name. Is this an issue?

Answer:

Many records from the 2002 old SIR data contain clerical errors and inaccuracies. Such mistakes are common. During mapping, the details may be mentioned as they appear in the old record.

Q3. The address is incomplete and there is no EPIC number. Can self-mapping still be done?

Answer:

Yes. If the name is traceable in the polling station records and the address is not completely incorrect, it is generally considered sufficient for self-mapping.

Q4. Can corrections be made in the old 2002 SIR data?

Answer:

Generally, changes cannot be directly made in the 2002 old SIR data. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the current voter ID and other present-day documents are accurate and error-free.

Q5. What additional document can support clarification of the clerical mistake?

Answer:

A legal affidavit can be prepared through a Notary. The affidavit should state that the error occurred due to clerical mistakes in the 2002 SIR data and clarify the correct relationship details. This affidavit can serve as an additional supporting document.
